Buck Boost
Transformers - A single phase transformer designed as a low
voltage isolation transformer and a
"buck boost" transformer. Buck boost means that they are
used to lower or boost to increase line voltage to match load
voltage. They provide a lot of capacity and flexibility in
KVA sizes and input/output voltage combinations. A typical
application is 120 volts in, 12 volts out for low voltage
lighting or control circuitry. In most applications, this low
voltage transformer is field connected as an auto transformer.
