An unincorporated railroad town located in
Loudoun County,
Virginia. It was started in
1720 when Thomas Lee and Robert Carter began buying up strategic
pieces of land in Virginia with the idea of controlling the
commercial destiny of the colony. They believed that
whoever had control of the waterways, ultimately had control of
the colony. Currently, the area serves as headquarters for

its citizens commute to Washington DC, which is only 30 miles to
the west of the city.
